AC motors are manufactured with a laminated core iron that is insulated and wound with copper conductors. Over time, motor windings age and fail due to usage. CMT can remanufacture any size AC motors to original specifications. Our initial burnout process includes testing core loss before and after and charting oven temperature. The core iron is tested repeatedly while being prepped for coil installation. Coil design can be duplicated using manufacturer original data and insulation class. Coils can be random wound or form wound. If varnish treatment is need, CMT has dip and bake and vacuum pressure impregnation available.
